Position: Carpenter (August 2012)
TasSpan is a dynamic civil contracting company which specialises in fabrication and construction of bridges in Tasmania. Our company is experiencing exceptional growth and requires the placement of an experienced formwork carpenter.
Based in North West Depot (Latrobe), some living away from home will be necessary.

Position: Qualified Civil Engineer (August 2012)
Qualified Civil Engineer to work as a Project Manager on design and construct contracts based at their North West Depot Latrobe.
Reporting to the Managing Director the person will be responsible for overseeing projects from conception to completion, including estimating, tendering, management of personnel and subcontractors and commercial outcomes. Client, sub contractor and internal liaison is important, so is the ability to communicate at all levels is required.

Position: Crane Operator (August 2012)
TasSpan is a dynamic civil contracting company which specialises in fabrication and construction of bridges in Tasmania. Our company is experiencing exceptional growth and requires the placement of an experienced crane operator (up to 100 tonne) to work state-wide on bridge construction sites, pile driving and miscellaneous lifting. Based in North West Depot (Latrobe), some living away from home will be necessary.
Desirable Skills
- Good communication
- Self motivated
- Heavy rigid licence (essential)
- Riggers licence
- Mechanically minded with ability to service and carry out minor repairs on cranes
- Some living away from home necessary
